If you have seen the movie Total Recall with Arnold Schwarzenegger, you may remember the scene where he runs through the screening process with a weapon on and they do a full body x-ray and find the weapon. Well at that time I said to myself "naaa, they'll never do that."

So much for never... I read in the Salt Lake Tribune today that TSA will be testing a full body scanner right here at the Salt Lake City International Airport. And although it doesn't scan you as you run through it like on Total Recall, it does get an x-ray of you like this.
Man how technology is moving... Not sure I like it, all in the name of "National Security".

The weather is here...

Well, folks, this morning started out absolutely gorgeous. Spring is here, and it's about 25 days early. The temperature on my way to work about 9:00 was 53, the sun is shining, and the snow has all but melted around here. You know what all this means??? It means the Motorcycle cops are in bloom.. Yes folks, you can see them on the side of the street with their brightly colored flashing lights. And if you are lucky, you won't see them behind you. The last two days I have seen three of them blooming on my way to work, so let this be a warning to you all, watch for them, cause even though those reds and blues are pretty, they surely will sting you.
