The universe

Sometimes you see something that makes you realize that karma is doing her job. After dropping the older boy at school, I drove to Highland Drive. This is where there is a school zone, and the cops are almost ALWAYS clocking this area when the school zone lights are flashing. When I get there I look over, there's the cop clocking. Mind you I know they hang there so I was driving appropriately, I had no concern of getting a ticket. Then I see him waving this car into the parking lot. The best part, she was on her phone. As the guy is waving her into the parking lot, she is still on her phone. I guess if she had been off the phone and paying better attention she may have been 20. I am not quite as adamant about phone usage while driving as my brother is. But I am quite adamant about doing the correct speed in a school zone. As drivers it is our responsibility to pay close attention to the world around us, additionally school zones are areas we cannot let our attentions slide.
I hope she is glad that there is not a law in place as there is in Dallas http://everythingaboutmobilephone.com/news/dallas-city-school-zones-ban-cellphones/. Maybe we should encourage one.

So agree. Then again, maybe I'm just jealous and wish people would call my phone. Thanks to you though, now I have entered the world of texting. And ya know what? Pretty sure I haven't texted since then. Ha! I am so popular.
