Gymkhana

Well, we went out to Miller Motorsports Park today to watch the drifters and Gymkhana (click for definition). Gymkhana (autocross) was being run in the west paddock while drifting was in the north paddock. Well, after a little coaxing by my friends and Mrs. Gearhead, I decided to run the Gymkhana. Click on the picture here to see how the track was set up. First time out "racing" and I don't think I did to bad, the best time for this run today was about 55 seconds. I ran it in Mrs. Gearheads Nissan SE-R with a best time of 59.5 seconds. I like the way the car felt, the slalom was a blast. The figure eight was a pain though, and the tight turn was exhilarating. All in all I enjoyed it, I think I will be doing this one again.

Ok, that looks like a lot of fun! If they do it sometime this summer (unless I'm playing Forest Ranger), I'm gonna have to take you up on one of your offers to go with!

We will let you know when the next one comes up. But I don't think you should take any of the LTDs for it, you would just kill the cones, streets of San Francisco style.
