Driving experience

I have been stating lately that, by watching the drivers, the word Prius must be Japanese for Prick.  Yes, it is my feelings that a good population of Toyota Prius drivers seem to drive like pricks.  They seem to have this "holier than thou" attitude.  This is not only true here in Salt Lake Valley, as my sister in law from the Bay area of California agreed with my observation.  Yesterday I saw this bumper sticker on Prius that only upped the ante, this one obviously has evolved to a new level of prick, here is that bumper sticker.  Brings "holier than thou" to a new level.

Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against being fuel efficient, or economically minded but do you have to be such a self righteous prick about it?

Ironically, there have been articles and studies that claim the overall carbon footprint of an electric and/or hybrid car is not much better than that of a similar sized gasoline vehicle.
When you take into account the entire production of the Prius, especially the energy needed to mine the nickle and other ores for the batteries, trading in your perfectly good 5 year old Nissan for a new Prius can actually be worse for the environment. Google "Toyota Prius Carbon Footprint" to judge these articles for yourself. Whether you find them completely believable or not, they at least require a little 'self-righteousness' adjustment.
