It finally happened. We got the Cougar out (presently naming her Tabitha). Until Friday it's been a two mile run to the store, a five mile run to work. But Friday we took her up to Roy for a BBQ at one of the parks up there. She was a blast. Got her up to about 85 at one point, but I wasn't totally comfortable yet going that speed. The drive up was nice, but actually a bit warm. Hung out, had a bunch of car geeks checking out the car. And took some photos up there.
The drive home, however, was FANTASTIC. The sun had set, the temp was probably close to 70 and we are cruisin down I-15 at 75 miles per hour with the top down. It was gorgeous. The desire for a convertible late 60s muscle car has come to fruition, and now we realize it was well worth the work.
