Yes, I realize I am behind the times for the thematic photos, and trust me, I will have some pictures for this weeks theme. However I felt the need to share these photos for last weeks theme. The first two vividly express the difference that aperture makes for depth of field (first shutter speed of 1/50 - F22, focal lengh is 28mm, second shutter speed of 1/1600 - F3.3, focal length is also 28mm.)
The next three were taken from our trip to Arches National Park this last weekend, and this desert area leaves a fair amount of trees downed and dead. This one was in our camp area and I enjoy not only the tree, but the shadowing it leaves on the first one.The last two are of the same two branches of this tree but different perspective of the landscape.
I like the "face" there is in this rock, it is easily seen from this area of the campground and has always caught my attention.

Great photos (yummy fruit) and oh so brilliant colors. The last photos remind me of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada, also another lovely place.....very nice collection! Thanks!
I like the apple shots. :)
