busy busy busy

I want to apologize to all for not joining in the branches photos, however I have not had time to look for photos.  We have been busy, not only with our two troubles, but with the house remodel.  This brings me to my point, it has been MONTHS since I posted anything on the kitchen remodel, but it has been always at this point where I didn't feel I wanted to post pictures.
Although I do feel I should have posted this picture of the floor so you could have seen the progress at that point. No sense dwelling on that.
Finally we have installed some of the cabinets.  Looking back, we have the old kitchen.

Granted we don't have the whole wall done, more will go up in the next few days, but here is how the cabinets are looking at this time, installed, and ready for counter top.  This is the beginning of the end, though I have an island to build, this should prove interesting.  Pictures of that to follow.

Carmi, can all this wood represent my branches?  Ok, maybe not, I will seek at least one branches pictures in the next couple days.

I say yes!!! all these photos mark branching...of work to accomplish, worked already completed..the lovely squares branching across the floor...my perception sees all your creative branching while getting your renewal done! It's all in the eye of the beholder right!

I vote yes! A home is a central branch in the structure of a family, so what could be more significant than reshaping that home to better support the life of your family?

You do incredible work, btw. I lose the script beyond changing lightbulbs and installing light switch covers. So to see a kitchen being reborn like this is a revelation. Looks like you're creating a neat space to gather. I'm deeply impressed.
