#123, Black and White and follow up.

I always enjoyed the look of picture taken with a wide angle lens.  After I purchased one I got to playing with it in my backyard, this first picture is the outcome.
There is something spectacular about southern Utah, this second photo is shot in Goblin Valley north of Hanksville, Utah.  Most of the photos taken there would be useless in monochrome since so much of what makes southern Utah is the vivid colors of the rocks, however sometimes there are shapes and shadows that don't lose their appeal with the loss of color.

We spend a fair amount of time on the local Nissan forum, I take care of the car of the month polls for this site.  The winner of the poll is offered a photo shoot by me for them.  The black car won recently so I planned a shoot for this car, while at it I thought why not add Mrs' white one and get a couple shots for the T.P..  Here is a black and a white Nissan Sentra SE-R.

For those who were wondering about that picture of the ice, here are a couple of other shots showing how much it was off the glass.  I found this intriguing and thought it necessary to capture.

Wow that ice is cool! The new pictures really define what you were saying...and I really like the Mrs. car best out of the Black and White set....the white color is very remarkable along side the darker black! Nice B & W Mr. & Mrs.

I never fail to be amazed at how nature works. I can't even begin to understand the processes of physics and chemistry that resulted in the water freezing in seeming mid-air like that. But I am awestruck by it - and by the subtle way you captured it.

Coolness. Literally and figuratively!
